Our Story

While attending college in Tallahassee, Florida, Marquis was diagnosed with retinal tears in both eyes. It was at this time that the importance of life's many fleeting images was realized. Shortly after returning to Palm Bay, Marquis established a friendship with one of his high school graduation presents; a 35mm Nikon camera given to him by his parents. Soon the two would become inseparable and he started getting serious about capturing images.

During the summer of 1998, several of his friends and loved ones which he photographed passed on to a higher place. After their passing, numerous requests for photographs were made by several families. That is when he realized the importance of his gift of photography and its powerful ability to stir emotions and impact generations.

Marquis Campbell Photography was founded in July of 1999. Marquis is married and realizes that without the favor of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ his dream of becoming a professional photographer would never have come true.

Our specialties include pets, relationships, families, high school seniors and executive headshots.
