How to Become a Christian“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.Becoming a Christian is the greatest thing you can do in your life. It is as easy as ABC. A) First, you must Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, B) You must Believe in your heart that He died for you on the Cross and rose from the dead and will return again, C) You must Confess with your mouth that He is Lord. Romans 10:9-10Once you become a Christian you are a new creature in Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:17:“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” Salvation is a free gift from God for all who repent of their sins, believe in Jesus and that He died rose from the dead to save mankind. (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10) You cannot be saved simply by being good or doing good deeds, (Ephesians 2:8; 1 Timothy 1:9). It is a faith walk (believing and acting solely on God’s Word about salvation).Prayer of Salvation“Lord I believe in you and your son Jesus Christ, I Believe that you died on the cross and were raised from the dead soon to return, I confess my sins and repent, I accept you as my Lord and Savior, I am saved, I am reborn, I am a Christian in Jesus name, I pray.
